Meet Laura

My name is Laura Coral. I'm a senior clinical embryologist — which means I spent over a decade inside IVF laboratories doing the work that most patients never see: injecting eggs, grading blastocysts, running vitrification, implementing AI embryo selection systems, leading laboratory teams across three countries.

After more than 10 years working inside IVF laboratories, I realized many patients leave treatment with unanswered questions about their embryos, laboratory results, and fertility options.

I've worked at Pacific Fertility Center in Los Angeles, City Fertility in Melbourne — one of Australia's largest fertility networks — and Cecolfes in Colombia, with training experiences in South Korea, Sweden, Australia and USA.

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Embryology from Monash University, one of the world's leading programs in reproductive science, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.

Throughout my career, I kept seeing the same thing: patients going through one of the most emotionally intense experiences of their lives, armed with a PDF of embryo grades and a 10-minute consultation. They had questions that took years of training to even know how to ask — let alone answer.

Sense Fertility exists because no one should have to go through IVF without understanding what's actually happening.

WHAT MAKES SENSE DIFFERENT

What I bring that most fertility educators can't

Point 1 — I worked in the lab,  I studied fertility from the inside.

I performed ICSI procedures, evaluated morphokinetic embryo development, managed cryopreservation programs, and implemented electronic witnessing systems in high-volume IVF labs. When I explain your fertilization report, I know exactly how it was produced.

Point 2 — I have no financial stake in your treatment decisions

Sense is not affiliated with any clinic, pharmaceutical company, or supplement brand. I'm not paid to recommend a protocol, a clinic, or a product. My only job is to help you understand your situation clearly and identify tools useful for you.

Point 3 — I've seen how IVF works across the world

Having trained, gone to conferences and worked in IVF laboratories in many places of the world such as Australia, the United States, Colombia, South Korea, Sweden, I've seen how different clinics approach the same problems — and what best practices actually look like across different healthcare systems.
